Gmail rarely fails to work: Google is known for being reliable because they have servers all over the world. This means you can use a different device if you need to, and you won’t have to wait to get or send mail. Gmail is a web-based: service that loads quickly. You can store up to 15GB: That is more than you will need for many years. You can now create a new account by following the steps in the How to create your first Gmail account section, starting with step 2. On the Choose an account screen, click Use another account. Click your profile image in the upper-right corner of the screen. This can be done even if you are already logged in to your email account. You can still make a new email account through Google even if you already have a Gmail account. You now have a Gmail email address and a new Google account. Click the “I agree” button to agree to Google’s terms. Click Skip or Yes, I’m In to decide if you want to connect your phone number to Google’s services. Enter your information, such as your phone number, gender, birth date, and (if you want) an email address for recovery. Enter the code in the field once you have it. For two-factor authentication, Google sends a text message with a six-digit verification code. Google wants to make sure that your phone number is real. If asked, put in your phone number to confirm. Fill in the required fields, like your first and last name, username, and password. Choose “For myself” from the drop-down menu. Select Create an account in the upper-right corner.

Choose a suggested Gmail address or create your own. Enter the month, day, and year of your birth. Optionally, you can also enter your Last Name. On the Google sign-in screen, select Create Account. When asked to choose an account type, select Google. If you’re signed in to your Gmail account, tap the profile icon in the upper-right corner and select Add another account. Tap the Gmail app on your device to open it. Since the Gmail app is in both the Google Play Store and the iPhone App Store, you can set up your new account from almost any device. It makes sense that they would also set up their email account on a mobile phone. Most people use their cell phones to check their email.
